I have been petsitting training dogs in the uk for over 15 years and have fantastic references. I used to be a vet assistant and I have 3 nvqs in animal care handing & training.

I absolutely love this job, I love to take care of the pets to the best of my ability.
I am reliable, trustworthy, kind, caring and punctual. Your pet will receive the very best care from me.

Growing up in Northern Ireland surrounded by pets as my grandparents always had all sorts of domestic and farm animals.
I always knew I would work with a variety of pets as an adult.
I love to explore new places, meet new people and most of all meet the new pets and help owners train pooches who may have some issues! Any problem I will do my upmost best to solve it.
Toilet training, lead training, aggression issues ( other dogs or people ) lead pulling, reactive dogs, mouthing dogs, overexcited dogs and food aggressive dogs
I will work with any dog that comes my way.

My training methods?
I use a calm energy, allowing the dog to come to terms with things in his or her own time. We never rush a dog to learn it can take time. Every dog is different.

Results that can be expected to be delivered?
Owners can expect a well behaved dog when I’m finished. I have had amazing results over the years. I have taken care and worked with over 500 dogs.

How long to expect results?
It can sometimes take an hour a day sometimes longer in some more complex cases. Some dogs will need a lot more time than the others. If the owner works with me and is consistent with training all should be well . We hope for a well behaved and well balanced social dog after lessons.

Emily was originally booked to look after my kitten Nala, however at last minute she also offered to care for my rabbit Barney as I was struggling to find someone to care for him whilst I was on holiday. Both my Kitten and Rabbit was cared for very well and returned to me happy and healthy. It was very reassuring knowing they were both with someone who loves animals. Thank you so much! I will definitely use Emily in the future.

Our two little dogs have gone away for the first time, except from with family they already knew. We were anxious, but Emily put our minds at ease. They were so well looked after, home from home is exactly what they got and more. Loads of excercise and socialisation for a shy 11 year old Chihuahua and a 7 month old Cavapoo. We would not hesitate to use Emily again and would highly recommend her. She is a lovely, kind and compassionate person, who kept us updated throughout the time, with pictures too! I'm very close to my Ridgeback puppy, he comes to work with me every day, sleeps next to the bed, in fact he's with me pretty much 24/7. If I have to go somewhere that dogs aren't allowed I tend just not go so it was really hard leaving him with someone else for the first time but Emily was great and we'll definitely be going back there. I got loads of photos and updates and he clearly had a great time. Very happy customers.
